You should get a notification on the right side of your screen once the transfer is complete - it should literally take 1 second unless your internet speed is 0.0001kbps (as shown below). To do this select any other item within (for this example) the Kinetic Slot since The Mountaintop is Kinetic and equip a different item (as shown below). Go to and download the latest version of the software.

Now if the item you want to transfer is currently equipped on your selected Guardian (as shown above) you will need to unequip it.

As an example, I will be using my Warlock to transfer The Mountaintop to my Hunter.

Select the Guardian you want to take the item off.
